As part of the “Build Belleville” infrastructure development project, the City of Belleville, along with funding from the provincial and federal government, constructed a new bridge at Bay Bridge Road crossing over the CPR rail line. The close proximity to an active rail line required a cast-in-place crash wall in collaboration with Reinforced Earth® MSE walls.

With construction completion slated for late 2017, this new bridge structure will address the need for updated infrastructure and provides improved traffic flow for local, tourist and commercial traffic into and out of the city’s core.
